CLASSIC COUNTRY HOUSE — COMPLETE HOME INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
This country house project brings classic architecture and contemporary clarity into a single, coherent home that feels both elegant and welcoming. With Dream Design appointed for complete home design, the interiors were developed in close collaboration with the clients, aligning spatial planning, room-to-room flow, and detailed specification to suit the way the house is used every day.
As a third project together, the brief was shaped around familiarity and trust: a sociable, multi-functional kitchen at the centre of the home, and a principal suite designed as a quiet retreat. Throughout, proportion, circulation, and considered set-outs ensure the scheme feels calm, resolved, and durable over time.
Kitchen, Dining, and Lounge Areas
The SieMatic kitchen is planned as a sociable, multi-functional hub, centred on an L-shaped island that integrates a structural column without interrupting circulation. The layout naturally forms zones for casual dining, formal meals, and lounging, supporting easy hosting and day-to-day living. A bespoke drinks area adds convenience while keeping the primary kitchen workflow clear.
Cabinetry in Nutmeg matt lacquer with Gold Bronze accents is paired with book-matched Neolith Calacatta Gold Silk worktops, detailed with mitred panels and end-matched junctions for a continuous read. A banquette dining area with a Porada stone-topped table introduces comfort and practicality, while mixed-metal lighting layers warmth and presence across the open-plan space.
Principal Bedroom and Ensuites
The principal suite is composed as a calm retreat, with flexible separation between spaces. A Rimadesio sliding partition allows the his-and-hers ensuites to open or close as required, supporting privacy while maintaining a cohesive suite arrangement.
One ensuite is organised around a Hafro Bolla whirlpool bath with an integrated step for comfort and accessibility, paired with refined vanity units and polished nickel brassware to balance classic and contemporary cues. The second ensuite adopts a more architectural, restrained tone, featuring an AXOR Starck Shower Heaven and stone finishes across walls and surfaces. Bespoke panelling, integrated benches, and a neutral palette carry across both rooms, keeping the suite quietly consistent and tailored to modern living.
This project reflects Dream Design’s wider approach to kitchen design, bathroom design, and interior architecture, where spatial planning, proportion, and precise set-outs create a home that feels quietly luxurious and coherent over time.
