Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative
As a member of our Warehouse Operations team, you will assist us in storing, maintaining and issuing of goods and processing the supporting documentation. This is a highly varied and hands on role.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Receive, unload and check supplier deliveries of materials and goods
Quality check products and organise replacements/returns as required
Prepare, wrap, package & label items for safe storage and/or transport
Route Planning for deliveries
Check and load materials/goods, deliver to site and unload
Unwrap, assemble and position goods in clients’ homes as required
Attending to all relevant paperwork
Ensure warehouse is kept clean and organised at all times
Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the warehouse & showroom
To be successful, you will have the following experience and personal attributes:
Previous warehouse experience
Be smartly presented at all times and have excellent customer service skills
Great communication skills and pleasant disposition
Flexible approach to duties and tasks
Self-motivated, hard-working and organised individual
Enthusiastic team player and ability to make a positive contribution
Full clean UK driving licence essential
“Be physically fit – due to the nature of this work heavy lifting is required
(large sofas, appliances and wardrobes etc)”
Some flexibility in working hours to accommodate deliveries
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with a half hour break for lunch.
Uniform will be provided
Salary: £19,500.00 – £21,000.00 per annum
Kitchen Sales Designer
We are now looking to recruit a Kitchen Sales Designer experienced in offering luxury products.
You will be responsible for:
Showing clients around the showroom and portraying the Dream Design ethos.
Creating ergonomic and innovative designs that meet the client brief.
Specifying products from our portfolio of leading brands to suit the design and clients’ requirements.
Using leading CAD packages to create and present ingenious and inspiring designs.
Meeting with clients to agree the design and specification and secure the order.
A flair for design and the desire to exceed our clients expectations.
Ability to consistently meet and exceed goals whilst maintaining a high standard of quality and productivity.
Capable of working in a dynamic and sometimes pressurised office environment.
Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive outlook.
Able to record a detailed client brief.
ProgeCAD and 20/20 Fusion knowledge beneficial.
Proven track record in kitchen design.
Working hours: Monday to Saturday 8.45am to 5.15pm with half hour lunch break and mid-week day off.
Salary Guide: OTE £40,000
