Which today is widely acknowledged as the leading Italian manufacturer of leather upholstery, and not just furniture, the Poltrona Frau group’s Interiors in motion division has upholstered the interiors of super cars for many years and the contract departments installations include the Italian parliament and LA’s Getty Museum.
Developed by the Poltrona Frau Research and Development Center team in collaboration with the finest Italian tanneries, the Pelle Frau® catalogue consists of 12 different leather collections, that together offer an incredible choice of over 100 colours. Pelle Frau® preserves the original and natural softness of the finest leather to guarantee its unique aesthetic, tactile quality and durability.
Not just a one trick pony though, as through collaborations with numerous Italian and international architects and designers Poltrona Frau have developed a comprehensive collection of elegant furniture, lighting and accessories for the whole home.

The Chester sofa has become a Poltrona Frau classic since Renzo Frau first presented it in 1912. Roberto Lazzeroni was tasked with its evolution and envisaged the Chester Line modular sofa, lightened and updated to reflect the requirements of contemporary living.

The Archibald Armchair
The Archibald by Jean-Marie Massaud invites you to meditate and relax. The enveloping design creates a comfortable, compact and stylish armchair. The Archibald Gran Comfort armchair displays the same design characteristics, but with more generous proportions. The latest addition to the collection is a beautifully refined dining chair.
Mamy Blue Bed
Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni the soft and rounded design of the Mamy Blue Bed is akin to a sculpture, expertly modelled and processed by the Poltrona Frau craftsmen. Mamy Blue Bed is designed to grab the spotlight, the curves of its striking headboard, which envelop the bed surface are inspired by the armchair from which it takes its name.
The Viola Dining Chair
Displaying soft, comfortable curves, the new Viola dining chair was designed by AB Concept. The wooden backrest also creates the armrest and is embellished with a weave of sixty saddle-leather laces. Its harmonious and ergonomic proportions, combined with a generous and welcoming seat, guarantee the utmost comfort even when sitting for long periods.
Le Montera bar stool
Montera is a chair, an armchair, a stool of two different heights, a column stool and a stackable chair. The same materials and finishes are used in every item of the collection. First and foremost the original upholstery of the shell, which combines Pelle Frau® leather on the inside with Cuoio Saddle Extra leather on the outside, with contrast stitching around the edges.
The Grant De Luxe Pouf
Tristan Auer designs a collection of poufs for Poltrona Frau which stand out for their nomadic, versatile and flexible elegance.
