Brand Van Egmond chandeliers are as much sculptures as a light source. The unique styles are designed by William Brand and manufactured in Naarden, Holland. The handcrafted pieces radiate passion and emotion – beautiful objects that can’t be overlooked.
Edison’s Tail
A collection that celebrates Thomas Edison invention – the light bulb, by making it the focal point of the design. Inspired by nature and the initial burst of life when a seed opens and the first shoots appear. Unadorned yet full of energy, contemporary and elegant: Edison’s Tail moves freely and reveals that light can become art.

Founder and Designer
William Brand graduated at the Utrecht School of Arts in The Netherlands as an architect /sculptor and founded Brand Van Egmond in 1989. He is a pioneering artist, with a passion for objects and design. A mix of affection for craftsmanship, love of experimenting with new materials and techniques and respect for times gone by result in innovative, timeless designs.
Kelp Chandelier
Reminiscent of a crackling open fire, Kelp is a dramatic light that allows the bulb holders to blend or contrast with its organic structure. Kelp is available in round, conical and oval chandeliers, with finishes in stainless steel, red copper, brass high gloss, black or white. As with all the ranges, bespoke commissions are enthusiastically undertaken.
Kelp Pendant
This group of Kelp pendant lights demonstrate the playful nature of the collection. A central copper pendant is flanked by two in bronze with copper bulb holders.
Hollywood Icicles
Travelling through Africa, William was touched by the slenderness and pure beauty of the branches and trees scattered across the land. Resulting in the creation of the Hollywood collection.
Eve Chandelier
