Baccarat Glass was established in 1765 by the Bishop of Metz who wanted to encourage industry in the little village of Baccarat. The factory excelled in its early years with a focus on glassware and mirrors, but slowed in its production with the onset of the French Revolution. Early in the nineteenth century, however, Baccarat developed its own lead crystal production and soon became and remains today, the foremost glassworks in France.
Transforming matter into an object of desire has been the calling and talent of Baccarat artisans for over 250 years. Many of the companies signature styles such as the “Harcourt” line of glassware have been developed into lighting and decorative objects. Whilst collaborations with international designer such as, Philippe Starck, Marcel Wanders and Jaime Hayon have ensured continuous innovation and popularity throughout the years.
HARCOURT OURFIRE
Made entirely out of Baccarat crystal, in three sections: the base is a Harcourt candlestick, followed by a candleholder inspired by the form of Baccarat’s Harcourt glass, and finally a crystal lampshade with a glittering red or golden metallic finish. Light, filtered by the magic of crystal, flickers from the flame of the candle and turns into a magic glow.HARCOURT OURFIRE

Modernising the traditional Zenith line, Philippe Stark uses smoky black crystal to reinterpret a Baccarat icon. Maintaining the chandelier’s original structure and ornamentation, Starck adds black shades lined with aluminium reflectors to magnify the effect of light on the black crystal. Baccarat’s signature red octagonal crystal is here linked to a spiked prism, specially designed by Starck. The 24-light chandelier is a stunning and bountiful showcase of black crystal. The ‘anti-chandelier’ par excellence, black crystal is the exact antithesis of the translucence of clear crystal. Black instead imbues this classical shape with great power, revealing its sculptural dimension in a whole new way. The chandelier is a truly decorative object, a dazzling sculpture.JEUX DE CRYSTAL CHESS
The Game-Collection is a luxurious, elegant interpretation of strategy and honour. As a celebration of timeless quality, this collection is a reinvention of the artefacts of history’s most iconic games brought into the contemporary moment. The collection includes five games – Backgammon, Checkers, Domino, Chinese Go and Chess – each an ode to both the enduring beauty of competition and the ingenuity, craftsmanship and know-how of the manufacturer’s artisans. Inspired by the tactics and physical flow of movements, each game features sharp elegant appointments of the appeal for victory and the heroic ways of defeat. Designed with marble and crystal, the set is made from a familiar material combination of Marcel Wanders’ and Baccarat’s longstanding collaboration.BEARBRICK BACCARAT
Bearbrick Baccarat is born from a collaboration with the Japanese brand Medicom Toy. Reinterpreted by many contemporary artists, street artists and fashion designers, the iconic art toy in the form of a bear slips on its crystal costume for new adventures in the luxury world.HARMONIE BARWARE
The Harmonie barware collection has a trim, linear silhouette that would be an ideal addition to any home bar. The glass has a statuesque look, emphasized by the consecutive parallel vertical cuts, and the ridges that bring a textural quality to the clear crystal.KRYSTA TABLE LAMP
With latent strength and refinement, like an obelisk of light. Krysta is a precious, timeless object to enhance any lounge, bedroom or study with a unique radiance. The purity of geometric lines reveals the extreme precision of the artisan’s every movement.CONCIERGE SERVICES
