Scarlett, a sofa which is also a chaise-lounge, a welcoming and comfortable nest. The Scarlett steals the show, its eye-catching circular form an invitation to relax. A project very much in line with Jean-Marie Massaud’s style, the Scarlett combines architectural geometries with full and soft volumes. The piece is surrounded by a brushed and burnished steel ring which supports a system of Cuoio Saddle Extra leather straps. The straps create a frame which functions both as a backrest and armrest in an elegant lattice which hosts the padded goose down and polyurethane foam seat.
Three back cushions are included which are in goose down, these in turn are liberally covered with loose square and rectangular cushions. The seat’s frame is made of solid beech wood. The Scarlett also features eight castors which allow the sofa to rotate through 360°.
There are other fabrics and leathers available for the Scarlett Sofa – please contact us for details.

Pelle Frau® COLOR SYSTEM leather, the finest European raw material, is synonymous with colour: a coordinated range of 96 different shades. Control over the palette is entrusted to the Color System Frau® which since 1987 has been opening its range of shades to different colour variations, designed to harmoniously adorn and go with both legendary icons and contemporary designs. The combination of specific technical research and Poltrona Frau’s vast experience has resulted in a perfect balance between the natural material and the treatment of the surface during the finishing phase. Interesting, in sensory terms, for its resistance and its excellent performance during usage and maintenance, over time Pelle Frau® Color System leather becomes even more elegant. Because of its specific qualities, the leather must not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. Pelle Frau® leather is resistant to wear and tear and flex and maintains its colour in normal conditions.
Pelle Frau® NEST leather, rich, strong, solid, yet incredibly soft to the touch, Pelle Frau® Nest leather is the product of painstaking processing. It all begins with the careful selection of the finest “full-grain” leathers. The colouring takes place in oak barrels, in which the pigments are absorbed naturally. This produces full and radiant colours that reveal the valuable irregularity of the surface, which remains intact. An elegance that gives depth and movement to a robust leather with a strong character. The little imperfections and colour effects emphasise the authenticity of the leather. Pelle Frau® Nest leather is available in 23 colours inspired by the colours of nature. Because of its specific qualities, the leather must not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. Accidental stains couldn’t be removable. Pelle Frau® leather is resistant to wear and tear and flex and maintains its colour in normal conditions. To clean, a soft, slightly damp white cloth should be sufficient. Dust frequently with a dry, non-abrasive white cloth.
Pelle Frau® SOUL leather, a full-grain leather dyed with aniline and oils and has no surface finish. The drum dyeing process makes the material transparent and the dyes fuller, creating a natural clouding effect that maintains the irregularity and the natural movement of the surface. The processing restores the depth of the tones, underlining the naturalness and softness of the organic material. Only a selection of fine European raw cow hides with a limited number of defects (scars, low grain, wrinkles, insect bites etc.) become Pelle Frau® Soul leathers. Only 10 in every 100 leathers reveal their natural qualities and can become Pelle Frau® Soul leathers. Qualities that, together with the natural defects of the leather, are a guarantee of uniqueness and quality: the real essence of the material. Pelle Frau® Soul leather is available in 12 colours. Because of its specific qualities, the leather must not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. Accidental stains cannot be removed.
